According to the news by Azime Kahya from Akşam Newspaper, the legendary actor Münir Özkul's heirs have filed a copyright lawsuit against the production companies.

Güner Özkul, who applied to the Istanbul Intellectual and Industrial Rights Court, expressed that in her father's projects during the Yeşilçam era, neighboring rights were not transferred and that in most productions, there was not even a written contract. Güner Özkul stated that her father Münir Özkul never received any financial compensation throughout his life.
In her petition, Özkul requested the cessation of uses and the precautionary prevention of the transfer of productions to other companies, and sought a precautionary measure against the production companies.
