One person died in a debt dispute at a chicken farm in Malatya. The police are searching for the former provincial chairman of the İYİ Party in Malatya as a murder suspect.

The former İYİ Party Provincial Chairman Hakan Yılmaz in Malatya killed his tenant Eyüp İshakoğlu due to a debt issue. Yılmaz is now being searched by the police everywhere.

The incident took place around 09:00 in a chicken farm located in Alacakapı Neighborhood, which is connected to Battalgazi district. According to the allegations, a dispute arose between Hakan Yılmaz, the former İYİ Party provincial chairman who is known to be the owner of the farm, and Eyüp İshakoğlu, to whom he rented the chicken farm, due to a debt issue.

ATTACKER ESCAPED FROM THE CRIME SCENE

As a result of the dispute turning into a fight, Eyüp İshakoğlu lost his life at the crime scene due to the shots fired, while Hakan Yılmaz, who is said to have committed the murder, escaped from the crime scene with his vehicle.

During the examination in the region, the teams found numerous empty cartridges, and the body of the deceased person was taken to the forensic medicine institution after the investigations. The search for the fugitive suspect continues.
