In response to the criticism, Görür stated, "This is a video taken during my site visit."

After the earthquakes on February 6, Prof. Dr. Naci Görür is among the most trusted names regarding earthquakes. He accurately predicted the Kahramanmaraş earthquake in advance and frequently warned about a magnitude 7 or higher earthquake for the Marmara region.
THE COMPANY SHARED GÖRÜR'S FOOTAGE ON SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS
In a video taken during his visit to the construction company and shared on the company's social media account, Görür states, "In well-executed projects like this, there won't be anything on the scale of a disaster."
CRITICISM OF MARKETING HOUSING
Journalist Sevilay Yılman, following Görür's footage, stated, "Prof. Dr. Naci Görür, who continues to claim that a very large earthquake is expected in Istanbul, has appeared in a promotional film to market the Sancaktepe Japanese Housing, which boasts its earthquake resistance. Coincidentally, the company that built it belongs to Yoshinori Moriwaki, who shares the same thesis as Görür. The square meter prices of the houses are jaw-dropping. Isn't it a beautiful world?"
"A VIDEO TAKEN DURING A CONSTRUCTION SITE VISIT"
Responding to allegations that he acted in a commercial for a construction company, Görür made the following statement to Fulya Soybaş from Hürriyet Newspaper:
"The person in charge of the Japanese Housing in the mentioned video is my student from the university. He specifically invited me, saying, 'Professor, come and see.' I liked it very much. Because even though it is horizontal architecture, they used an isolator for the first time in a building in Turkey. Earthquake isolators are used in large structures like hospitals here. He called me to see this, and I was proud of my student, saying, 'Well done,' we had tea, they asked questions related to earthquakes, and I answered. At that time, video and photos were taken. They posted it on their social media. They are just malicious, pathetic people! It's not even worth mentioning, but... What can I say, may God reform them. The company has already resorted to legal means."
