NETANYAHU IS HEADING TO THE U.S.
According to Flight Radar data, Netanyahu's plane, which departed from Israel around noon and has an arrest warrant issued by the ICC, reached the "Wing of Zion" over the Atlantic Ocean.
THE PLANE USED GREEK, ITALIAN, AND FRENCH AIRSPACE
The plane carrying Netanyahu, who is heading to the U.S. to meet with President Trump, took a route similar to the one it drew over the Mediterranean and Europe while heading to the U.S. for a visit to Florida on December 28, 2025. Like during his previous visit to the U.S., Netanyahu's plane used the airspace of Greece, Italy, and France, which are parties to the Rome Statute, despite the ICC's arrest warrant against the Israeli Prime Minister.
ARREST WARRANT AGAINST NETANYAHU
During his previous visits, Netanyahu, known to have avoided entering the airspace of many countries due to the fear of arrest, used the airspace of Greece and Italy while traveling to New York for the United Nations General Assembly held in September 2025, but did not enter French airspace.
The ICC had issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on November 21 for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in the Gaza Strip.
