The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced the foreign player rule as 10+4 for the new season. Following objections from clubs, it was stated that the federation would review the rule by making a new decision.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) will review the foreign player rule upon the joint request of Super League clubs.
DEMAND FOR CHANGE FROM CLUBS
At the Clubs Association meeting, all Super League teams demand a change in the current 10+4 foreign player regulation. While clubs largely lean towards the 12+ model, they request flexibility in the number of age-limited players in the plus section, ranging between 2 and 5. In the current rule, there is no age limit for the 10 foreign players, while the remaining 4 players are required to be aged 23 or under. Clubs seek flexibility in this age-limited player quota.
CONTACT WILL BE MADE WITH TFF
The Clubs Association will contact the TFF shortly. The federation is expected to evaluate these demands from clubs and put the foreign player rule on the table.
