New details have emerged regarding the murder of Ayşe Tokyaz, who was killed by her ex-boyfriend Cemil Koç in Istanbul and whose body was placed in a suitcase. It has been revealed that the killer, former police officer Cemil Koç, agreed with a taxi driver to dispose of Ayşe's lifeless body for 500,000 lira. The taxi driver stated in his testimony that he was unaware that Ayşe's lifeless body was in the vehicle he was given.
Esra Tokyaz, 22-year-old Ayşe Tokyaz, a nursing student in Istanbul, reported her sister missing after not hearing from her. After a persistent search, suspecting her sister's boyfriend Cemil Koç, the young woman's lifeless body was found dismembered in a suitcase. Ayşe's body was brought back to her hometown of Reyhanlı, where she was laid to rest by her family. Meanwhile, it was learned that 7 people, including Cemil Koç, who is alleged to be her boyfriend, have been detained in connection with the young woman's death.
SHE WAS KILLED BY BEING STRUCK WITH A HARD OBJECT
On July 13, Ayşe's body was found on the roadside with her clothes removed from a suitcase. As a result of police investigations, it was determined that Ayşe was killed at home by being struck on the head with a hard object, and that C.K. placed the body in the suitcase and removed it from the house with another person. It was learned that C.K. came to Eyüpsultan with the vehicle containing the body and left the suitcase by the roadside.
HE PAINTED THE HOUSE RED
It was alleged that after committing the murder, C.K. painted the house red at night to prevent blood stains from being visible. After leaving the body by the roadside in the suitcase, he sent the house key to the cleaner with a motorcyclist, attempting to have the blood stains cleaned. C.K. and 6 others were detained. It was determined that C.K. had a record for "resisting to prevent duty," "threat," "insult," "intentional injury," and "buying, possessing, or administering drugs or stimulants for use."
AGREEMENT WITH THE TAXI DRIVER FOR 500 THOUSAND LIRA
According to information brought to light by İsmail Saymaz from Halk TV, new details have emerged regarding the murder of university student Ayşe Tokyaz by Cemil Koç, who was expelled from the police force. After killing Ayşe Tokyaz, Koç allegedly made an agreement with taxi driver N.E. for 500 thousand lira to dispose of the lifeless body. In his statement, N.E. claimed that he did not know there was a dead body in the vehicle he received from Cemil Koç, saying, "I didn't know if there was a corpse in the car. I learned there was a corpse in the suitcase when I was caught. I did not assist in the murder. I accepted Koç's request because I needed money. If I had known there was a corpse in the suitcase, I would not have accepted it."
AYŞE'S BROTHER: SHE HAD BECOME LIKE A MUMMY
On the other hand, Ayşe's brother Abdulkadir Tokyaz, who said he went to the Forensic Medicine Institution, stated, "I went to Forensic Medicine for identification. They took my sister's (Esra Tokyaz) DNA. They identified her from her DNA. They asked me, 'Do you want to see?' I saw. They only uncovered her face. Her body looked intact, of course, it was inside the body bag. I saw her face. It was unrecognizable, it was decomposed, it was like a mummy, it seemed to shine like lifeless mannequins."
