It has been learned that the statements of the people around Bilal D., who stated that he had no connection with the incident in his statement at the police station, are still being taken.
DISMEMBERED BODY FOUND IN CONTAINERS
In Istanbul, Pendik, a brutal murder was revealed when a citizen reported seeing human body parts in a garbage container to the police the day before yesterday. In the examination, it was determined that the body, which was found to have been dismembered after being killed, belonged to 79-year-old Nihat Salih. While the body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute for examination, the direction of the investigation changed with a video footage that emerged regarding the incident. Bilal D., who was seen emptying a white bucket he was holding into the garbage container where the head of the body was found, was immediately taken into custody by the police.
HE DENIED THE ACCUSATIONS
Bilal D., who was brought to the Homicide Bureau for questioning, denied the accusations during his initial interrogation. It was learned that during the 24-hour detention period, the suspect stated that he did not commit the murder and said, "I did not kill anyone. I just emptied the garbage I found on the road into the garbage container."
SENT TO PRISON
The suspect B.D., after giving his statement at the prosecutor's office, was arrested on charges of "intentional homicide" by the duty criminal judge of peace.
FOUND TO CARRY BAGS TO THE CONTAINERS
The police found and examined the white bucket in the footage during the investigation into the incident. In the initial examination, no blood stains were found in the bucket. However, it was stated that the bucket was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute for further examination. On the other hand, the police, talking to the residents of the area, learned that Bilal D. was seen carrying several bags towards the garbage containers on the same day.
FORENSIC MEDICINE EXAMINATION WILL REVEAL THE SECRET
A Luminol test was conducted in the suspect's house, showing erased blood stains. However, it was determined that no blood traces were found as a result of the test. All the knives found in the suspect's house and a bloody blanket found at the crime scene were taken under examination to determine whether they were used in the incident. It was stated that the secret veil on the murder will be lifted as a result of the examination of these materials.

The Homicide Bureau teams determined that the murdered Nihat Salih was a close friend of the suspect Bilal D. It was revealed that Nihat Salih frequently talked to Bilal D. before he was killed and even stayed at his house from time to time. It was determined that Nihat Salih, who disappeared, walked towards Bilal D.'s house after staying inside for a short time around 01:30 on the night. Officials stated that the investigation into the incident is ongoing and that statements are being taken from Bilal D.'s close circle of friends who have information about the incident.
