Speaking about the crisis within CHP and discussions of a new party, Özgür Özel stated that they have no intention of leaving CHP and will continue their struggle until the end. However, Özel expressed that "if Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu continues to use the party as a base for the AK Party, diminishes CHP, prevents them from engaging in politics within the party, and eliminates hopes of moving Turkey to a normal ground with CHP, a new party will inevitably be established."

Responding to claims that he would form a new party following the absolute nullity decision in the CHP, Özgür Özel stated that they currently have no such plans. Özel indicated they would continue their struggle within the CHP, but noted that a new party option could come to the agenda if all avenues were exhausted.

"WE HAVE NO INTENTION TO LEAVE THE CHP"

Özgür Özel, who lost the chairmanship due to the absolute nullity decision in the CHP, evaluated the claims about founding a new party in an interview with journalist Fatih Altaylı.

Emphasizing they would continue the struggle within the party, Özel said, "I don't even consider that. For now, we have no intention of forming a new party or leaving the CHP. We will fight to the end. We will try all legal avenues. This party is our party. We have a heartfelt bond with the party's organization, grassroots, and voters. We are its elected leadership. Why would we leave? We believe we will reclaim the party from those behind the nullity."

"A NEW PARTY IS NOT ON OUR AGENDA NOW"

Özel stated that as long as they have the opportunity to engage in politics within the CHP, the option of forming a new party is off the table. Expressing that they would continue the struggle within the party, Özel said they would exhaust all legal and political avenues.

HARSH CRITICISM OF KILIÇDAROĞLU

Directing criticism at Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as well, Özel remarked, "As long as we can continue the struggle within the party, no. It won't happen. But if we see that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu continues to use the party as a support base for the AK Party, diminishes the party, strives to destroy it, prevents us from doing politics within the CHP, and destroys our hope of bringing Turkey to a normal level with the CHP; then a new party will inevitably be established."

"WE WON'T LEAVE THE CHP WITHOUT TRYING EVERYTHING"

Özel noted that the new party option would be a last resort, saying, "But we cannot leave the CHP without fighting to the end, trying everything, and putting forth our utmost effort. We don't want to leave a single 'What if we had done this' point in our conscience."
