Peyman Kuruyemiş, which has been unable to overcome its financial difficulties, has been granted a one-year definitive moratorium by the court. During this period, it was also decided to establish a five-member creditors' committee to restructure the company's debts and enable it to continue its operations.

Recently, a decision was made for a company within İş Holding that is trying to overcome its financial difficulties.

Peyman Nuts had applied for concordat in February. The court had extended the temporary injunction period for the company, which could not meet its financial needs, by two more months. In the last hearing held on June 25, a one-year definitive injunction decision was made for Peyman Nuts.

A REPORT WILL BE SUBMITTED TO THE COURT

During the definitive injunction process granted by the court, it was also decided that the three-person concordat commissioner board, which was previously appointed to protect the assets and monitor the company's activities, would continue its duties. Accordingly, the concordat commissioners will monitor the company's financial situation, and the court will be informed with reports prepared every three months.

A CREDITOR COMMITTEE OF 5 PEOPLE HAS BEEN FORMED

Additionally, it was decided to form a five-person creditor committee upon the recommendation of the commissioners to ensure the healthy conduct of the concordat process.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The concordat process for Peyman Nuts was initially initiated in February, but despite the company's headquarters being in Eskişehir, the application was rejected on the grounds of lack of jurisdiction because the case was opened in the Istanbul Anadolu 1st Commercial Court. The definitive injunction decision taken after the new application is critically important for the company to restructure its debts and continue its operations.
