As of Friday, November 27, armed opposition groups that launched a war against Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria have completely taken control of Tal Rifaat, following Aleppo and Idlib. While the opposition's advance in the region continues, a new statement regarding the situation has come from Russia. The spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, reiterated Russia's support for the Syrian government and announced that Russia, Turkey, and Iran are in close contact regarding the developments.

Armed opposition groups that launched an operation against the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria have completely taken over Tel Rifaat after Aleppo and Idlib.
