The investigation into the death of the famous singer Güllü, who fell from the terrace of her home in Yalova on September 26 and lost her life, is ongoing. It was announced that the case had been transferred to the homicide department. However, new developments have strengthened the possibility that the incident may have been an accident.
THE INVESTIGATION DEEPENS
Following the incident, security camera footage was sent for forensic examination. As part of the investigation, it was revealed that Güllü had previously fallen due to the slippery floor in her home and had reported this situation to the police. This information has brought back the possibility that the incident may have occurred as a result of an accident.
Her daughter, Tuğyan Ülkem, stated in her testimony that on the day Güllü passed away, they went to the shopping mall with her friend Sultan and that they spoke with a caregiver for her daughter. In her continued testimony, Tuğyan Ülkem mentioned that Güllü called her and told her to drive carefully. Tuğyan Ülkem explained that after she returned home, her mother was lying down and was taking a shower at that time. Tuğyan Ülkem later stated that they played a folk dance in the living room. Ülkem noted that her mother was drinking alcohol in the living room and added that Güllü had moved on to the third bottle.
DESCRIBING THE NIGHT OF THE INCIDENT
In her statement, Ülkem said, 'My mother frequently consumed alcohol. She almost drank every day. I told her we were going to the room. My mother was in the living room. Sultan and I went to my room, and the window in my room was open. My mother usually kept the windows open. Sultan sat on my bed in the room. My mother had gone to the bathroom at that time. Meanwhile, the music on the television in the living room was loud. When my mother came into the room, a folk dance was playing. Sultan and I were dancing while standing. When my mother came into the room, she joined us and started dancing too. She even held Sultan's hand and tried to dance the folk dance. She danced with me as well, and we even hugged. At that moment, I was turned away from the window. My mother passed by me, dancing towards the back window. Then I heard a noise like a crash. When I turned around suddenly, I thought I saw my mother's dress, and then I ran outside, shouting 'Mom.' I started running down, and I remember trying to lift my mother. I was so shocked that I don't remember everything. I think I knocked on Çiğdem's door. I don't remember who called the police or the ambulance. I didn't see how my mother fell down; I thought I saw her dress when I turned around. In the cameras, after she came out of the bathroom, she said, 'What is that?' We were in the room and didn't hear anything. We hadn't seen my mother go to the bathroom. As soon as my mother entered the room, she joined us in dancing. That day, my mother was very cheerful. She had no enemies or anyone she hated. There was only some resentment with her assistant Çiğdem. My mother had invited her to breakfast a short time ago. Whenever my mother had a work-related question, she would ask her. Çiğdem lived with her mother.' it was learned.
