A new statement has been made regarding the health status of Devlet Bahçeli, the General Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), who underwent heart valve surgery. Party sources indicated that Bahçeli, who is conducting his work from home, is in good health, stating, "He will soon continue his duties at the party headquarters."
The MHP General Chairman Devlet Bahçeli underwent a heart valve operation in Gebze on February 4, 2025. On February 14, after completing his treatment process and being discharged, the MHP leader entered a rest period in Ankara.

A new statement regarding Devlet Bahçeli's health condition has been released. Party sources stated, "Mr. Devlet Bahçeli's health condition is good. Due to the surgery, he will conduct his work from home for a short period. He will resume his work at the party headquarters very soon."
BÜYÜKATAMAN: "OUR CHAIRMAN'S HEALTH CONDITION IS EXCELLENT"
MHP Secretary-General İsmet Büyükataman stated on his X account, "Thank God; Mr. Chairman's health condition is excellent. Our leader, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, is currently in a planned rest period and continues his work."
Büyükataman said: "For some time, it has been observed that certain anonymous circles, especially on social media, have been systematically and purposefully speculating about our Chairman Mr. Devlet Bahçeli's health condition. Our Chairman Mr. Devlet Bahçeli has successfully undergone a planned operation and has been discharged from the hospital.
Thank God; Mr. Chairman's health condition is excellent. Our leader, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, is currently in a planned rest period and continues his work. Those who hide behind troll names and try to confuse the public, the enemies of Turkey and the MHP, will wake up from their despicable dreams with a nightmare.
HIS CHIEF ADVISOR ALSO MADE A STATEMENT
Previously, MHP General Chairman's Chief Advisor Eyyup Yıldız stated, "With God's permission, he will start his work again shortly after the recovery process."
Yıldız, in a post on his social media account, reminded the public of the text previously shared on the official page of the MHP Headquarters, saying: "Our leader, our Chairman Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, entered the Anadolu Health Center in Gebze, Kocaeli, on February 4, 2025, for previously planned examinations, tests, and check-ups. As a result of the evaluations, an issue was detected in the heart valve he had previously undergone surgery on, and a successful interventional operation was performed."
Yıldız, who stated that Bahçeli would start working shortly, said, "As of February 14, 2025, our Chairman, who completed his treatment process, returned to Ankara after being discharged, and with God's permission, he will start his work shortly after the recovery process."
Criticizing the news about Bahçeli, Yıldız stated, "However, the fear of the enemies of Turkey, the treason networks, and the centers of discord has once again come to light. Traitors who have not received their share from God, the nation, and justice are trying to distort the truth through slander and defamation campaigns on social media."
Yıldız noted that legal processes regarding the news about Bahçeli have been initiated, stating, "No matter what they do, no matter what slander they spread, the will of the one with strong faith will also be strong! 'The wolf survives the winter but does not forget the cold it has suffered!' We will not forget either! All technical and legal processes regarding these despicable campaigns against our leader's health are being meticulously carried out, and those spreading this discord are being identified one by one."
