In Adana Sarıçam, the identity of an unknown person who allegedly cut the throat of a street dog he laid on the ground has come to light. The person who was accused of attacking the dog with a knife in an empty field and received backlash, turned out to actually be slaughtering a sheep.

After the images of the person who was claimed to have killed the dog caused a great reaction among the public, Fatma Tunç, the woman who recorded the video, apologized by making a new video. She said that she mistook the sheep for a dog because the video was taken from a distance. She used the following words: "I saw it from the 7th floor, so I perceived it as a dog. The sheep was sick, and the person who did this is a veterinarian. I don't want to blame anyone, I shared it in a hurry, and I apologize to everyone. The animal I thought was a dog turned out to be a sheep."
