The US and Israel are striking Iran. Following Israel's announcement of a preemptive attack, it was revealed that the US is also involved in the operation. While developments in the region are being closely monitored, a senior Iranian official stated, "Israel should be prepared for what it will face; there will be no red lines." This statement raised the question, "Will Iran use nuclear weapons?"
Israel announced that it has launched an attack on Iran. While explosion sounds were heard in Tehran, the capital of Iran, Israel stated, "We have initiated a 'preventive attack' on Iran." U.S. President Trump announced that they have launched a large-scale attack on Iran. Following the attack on Tehran, explosions were also reported in Tabriz, Isfahan, Qom, Karaj, and Kermanshah by Israel. It was announced that Iranian leader Khamenei was not in Tehran and was located in a secure location. It was claimed that Khamenei's office, the presidential office, and intelligence buildings were among the attack points of Israel.
"THERE WILL BE NO RED LINES"
While developments in the region are closely monitored, a senior Iranian official stated in an interview with Al Jazeera, "Israel should be ready for what it will face; there will be no red lines. We will not surrender. All U.S. and Israeli assets and interests in the Middle East have become legitimate targets."
STATEMENT FROM NETANYAHU
Following the attack, the first statement came from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu expressed that the purpose of the operation they initiated is to "eliminate the existential threat." According to the AFP news agency, Netanyahu stated that the time has come for the Iranians to break the "chain of bullying," while also calling on Israelis to "stand together to ensure the eternity of their country."
"THE LION'S ROAR OPERATION"
Netanyahu, who claimed that the U.S.-Israel attacks would give the Iranian people the opportunity to determine their own fate, stated that the attacks were named "The Lion's Roar Operation." Noting that the U.S. and Israel had recently launched an attack with the claim of "eliminating the existential threat of the regime in Iran," Netanyahu argued that Iran should not possess nuclear weapons.
