Şükriye Aci stated, "I did not receive any support from my husband's family. My child is 2.5 years old. There was a taxi license plate under my husband's name, which has now been transferred to me. There is a monthly payment from my husband, and there was a life insurance policy that paid out to me, with which I bought myself a house. There is a tenant in it. I am currently living with my mother. I just started in the real estate business. I separated in October due to some things I heard from the house I lived in with my husband and because I was unwell at that time. I moved to my mother's, but my mother-in-law and father-in-law created an impression as if I was not showing the child to them. No one from the outside would know our family relationships, but even when my husband was alive, our relationship with his family was not great," she expressed.

My father-in-law devised a plan and tried to manage the process himself, as I had given my power of attorney to the lawyer he directed. I was not informed for a long time. Six months later, we met with the lawyer at my mother-in-law's house. The lawyer told me that there were some offers. He conveyed that the other side wanted to offer 50-55 million, and I was very angry. I asked, 'What money?' I was told, 'Don't be impulsive, you have a child. Such a money cannot be missed.' The ones who initially told me this now say, 'We did not negotiate money with anyone.' My father-in-law was already saying everywhere he went, 'I will get my grandchild's rights.' Following Şükriye Aci's claims, Oğuz Murat Aci's mother Pervin Aci joined the live broadcast via phone to respond to the allegations. Pervin Aci stated that her daughter-in-law's claims were not true, saying, "I am a very grieving mother. I have been undergoing medical treatment for months. Pervin Aci, who stated that she did not give up on her case, said, "My child is gone; I have no eyes for money or anything. If they brought me that money, I would tear those people apart with that pain. I only want justice. Do not let Şükriye speak; do not humiliate her further. I am a retired healthcare worker, my husband is retired. We are a family that owns a company; we do not need 55 million or anything. A parent who has lost a child should not be burdened like this. I could not share my pain because of this. I have not seen my grandchild for six months; I do not know where my daughter-in-law works or what she does. That girl is not speaking the truth. We called her 'my daughter.' I am a mother; how can they do this to me? How can I forgive for three pennies? Whoever made us experience this, may they suffer from their child. May God make them fall in my place. I am 60 years old; what should I do with money?" she said.
