The man sitting at the edge of the 30-meter cliffs in Antalya triggered an alarm for the teams. He did not allow anyone to approach him, only permitting a healthcare worker to come closer. After an hour of negotiation efforts, he was moved to a safe area. During the negotiation attempts, three young people enjoying the view were noticed just 15 meters away from the same area.

Two different views emerged at the edge of the cliffs in the Muratpaşa district of Antalya.
ATTEMPTED SUICIDE, TEAMS PERSUADED
Those who saw a person sitting at the edge of the approximately 30-meter-high cliffs near Konyaaltı Street reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, police, medical, coast guard, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. Harun A., who did not allow the teams that arrived at the specified address to approach him, cried for a while while sitting in his place. Ignoring the police teams' persuasion efforts, Harun A. stated that he did not attempt suicide and requested the teams to leave.
15 METERS AWAY, ENJOYING THE VIEW
Meanwhile, it was noted that three young people sitting about 15 meters away from where Harun A. was located had sat on a chair and stones, watching both the view and the ongoing incident. Police teams, noticing the situation, removed the young people from their location.
HEALTH TEAM PERSUADED
While the persuasion efforts continued, a paramedic went to Harun A.'s side. The health worker talked with Harun A. for a long time and managed to persuade him to sit in a safe area about an hour later. Harun A. was taken to the police station for a statement.
