The heavy downpours affecting Antalya and its surroundings have come at a high cost. The Konya-Antalya highway has turned into a massive lake due to the flooding.
ROAD COMPLETELY UNDER WATER
Aerial drone footage shows that the asphalt road has been completely cut off and submerged after a certain point.
For safety reasons, drivers are being redirected to alternative routes, Akseki and Manavgat lines, on the road that has been closed to traffic. Efforts are ongoing to drain the water in the area.
