In a post on his social media account, Minister Yerlikaya shared the details of the operation, stating, "As a result of the efforts of the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the General Directorate of Security, in operations carried out in Antalya, Istanbul, Adana, Izmir, Konya, and Diyarbakır, it was determined that the suspects, who are members of the organized crime group, assaulted business people who did not pay them protection money, shot at their residences, workplaces, and vehicles, established an organization to commit crimes, attempted to intentionally kill, intentionally injured, deliberately endangered public safety, damaged property, and threatened with death. As a result of the operation, 23 unlicensed handguns, 2 unlicensed rifles, various amounts of narcotic substances, and a large amount of money were seized," he stated.
