Our national athlete Nesrin Baş, who represents our country in the 72 kg category at the World Wrestling Championship, defeated her Chinese opponent Zelu Li in the semi-final match and advanced to the final.

Nesrin Baş, competing in the women's 72 kg category at the 2025 World Wrestling Championship held in Croatia, has secured her place in the finals.

NESRİN BAŞ REACHED THE FINALS

In the ongoing event in the capital Zagreb, Nesrin defeated Slovak Zsuzsanna Molnar 9-4 in the first round and won by fall against Romanian Alexandra Nicoleta Anghel while leading 3-0 in the quarter-finals. The national wrestler also advanced past Asian champion Zelu Li with a score of 9-6 in the semi-finals and will face Ukrainian Alla Belinska in the championship match.
