(32) was driving a car in the Asarkale area of Asar neighborhood in Bafra, he lost control of the steering wheel, causing the vehicle to fall into the Kızılırmak River. In this traffic accident, the driver S.K.'s wife Gülşah Karaman Kıyak (34) and their joint child Poyraz lost their lives, while the driver S.K. survived with minor injuries. An official judicial investigation has been initiated by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding this incident; on September 16, 2025, the suspect driver S.K. was arrested by the Bafra Duty Magistrate on charges of 'premeditated murder of a spouse and premeditated murder of a child or a descendant who cannot defend themselves physically or mentally.'
