Turkey's Under-20 Women's National Volleyball Team became the undefeated champion by defeating Italy 3-2 in the final of the European Championship. The crescent-star team, who won all 7 matches in the group stage, also managed to defeat Poland 3-1 in the semi-finals.
Our Under-20 Women's Volleyball National Team, who finished first in their group by winning all 7 matches in the tournament held in Bulgaria and Ireland, became the undefeated champions by defeating Poland 3-1 in the semi-finals and Italy 3-2 in the final.
CHAMPIONSHIP CAME IN THE DECIDING SET
In the final of the European Championship, the U20 Women's National Volleyball Team faced Italy. Losing to their opponent 25-22 in the first set, our team showed a more effective game in the second set and took a 25-16 lead, bringing the score to 1-1. Continuing the pressure in the third set, our team managed to increase the lead to 6 points. At the end of the third set, which ended with our superiority of 25-19, the score became 2-1. In the fourth set, Italy, with the points scored by Esposito, increased their performance and brought the score to 2-2 with a 25-17 victory, leading the match to the final set. Not letting go of the pressure in the deciding set, our team won the match with a score of 15-11 and became the European champion.
