A small plane that deviated from its route in Beijing, the capital of China, crashed into the 108-story skyscraper, the tallest building in the city, sending debris falling onto the road from great heights, and the giant skyscraper was evacuated in panic.

SMALL PLANE HITS 108-STORY SKYSCRAPER
A small plane crashed into the 108-story CITIC Tower. Debris from the aircraft and building plummeted from hundreds of meters high, causing a small fire near the building's entrance due to the debris.
After the accident, the building was evacuated, and some vehicles in the area were damaged by the debris. Numerous health and security forces were dispatched to the scene, and the area around the building was closed to traffic.
ONLY THE PILOT WAS ON THE PLANE
Chinese media reported that the aircraft, a Sunward SA 60L Aurora type that took off from Shifosi Airport, had only the pilot on board. They stated that the plane was preparing to return to the airport for landing at 5:40 PM local time but deviated from its flight route and lost communication. While no statement has been made regarding the number of casualties and injuries in the accident, the cause of the crash is still unknown.
