After the April inflation data, the 4-month raise rate for civil servants and retired civil servants reached 10.51%, while expectations for the first 6 months of the year indicate the raise could rise to 14.23%. So how much raise will police officers, teachers, doctors, and nurses receive in July? Here is the raise calculation for civil servants...

While millions of civil servants and retired civil servants focus on the salary increase to be made in July, the raise calculations have begun to take shape following the April inflation data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).

RAISE RATE CLARIFIED WITH 4-MONTH DATA

For public employees who received an 18.6% raise and a flat increase of 1,000 TL in the first half of 2026, the first 4-month data for the July raise has emerged. Accordingly:

  • 4-month inflation: 14.64%
  • Inflation difference: 3.28%
  • Collective bargaining raise: 7%
  • Total raise: 10.51%

According to this calculation, the lowest civil servant salary will rise from 61,890 TL to 68,395 TL, while the lowest retired civil servant pension will increase to 30,691 TL.

6-MONTH ESTIMATES POINT TO HIGHER RAISE

According to the Central Bank's Market Participants Survey, May and June inflation are expected to be 1.82% and 1.52%, respectively. Under this scenario, 6-month inflation will reach 18.5%.

In this case, for civil servants and retired civil servants:

  • Inflation difference: 6.76%
  • Total raise: 14.23%

The lowest civil servant salary will rise to 70,698 TL, and the lowest retired civil servant pension will increase to 31,724 TL.
