A new amazing service has been added to e-Government, which is visited by millions of citizens every day. With the "Electricity Outage Reporting Application," citizens will be able to report power outages, malfunctions, and street lighting issues through the e-Government Gateway.

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, the "Electricity Fault Notification Application," developed in collaboration with the General Directorate of Turkey Electricity Distribution Inc. (TEDAŞ) and the Electricity Distribution Services Association, has been made accessible through the e-Government Gateway.

REPORTING CAN BE DONE QUICKLY AND SECURELY

According to a statement from TEDAŞ, citizens wishing to report power outages, faults, and street lighting issues can make notifications quickly and securely through e-Government.

SCOPE OF THE APPLICATION HAS BEEN EXPANDED

The application was initially launched in 2019 under the name "Lighting Mobile Tracking Application" to report street lighting faults. With improvements made in 2023, the scope of the application has been expanded to include power outages and general fault notifications.

NEARLY 2 MILLION REPORTS HAVE BEEN RESOLVED

So far, nearly 2 million reports made through the application, which has been downloaded by more than 700,000 users, have been resolved.
