In the Toroslar district of Mersin, 16-year-old Hira Aygar was shot in the head by her boyfriend H.A.Ş. and lost her life. In his initial statement, H.A.Ş. claimed that the young girl shot herself, but later confessed that he "thought the gun was unloaded and pulled the trigger while joking around." H.A.Ş. and two friends who were with him have been taken into custody in connection with the incident.

FIRST SAID "SHE SHOT HERSELF"
On the night of August 31, Hira Aygar and her boyfriend H.A.Ş. attended a military celebration with their friends. During the celebration, H.A.Ş. fired a gun into the air, and on the way back, they arrived at Akbelen Neighborhood, Sebahattin Çakmakoğlu Street, in their friend N.Ç.'s car. Here, he claimed that the young girl took the gun and shot herself in the head.
A CONFESSION CAME
After the police noticed the contradictions in the suspects' statements, H.A.Ş. was questioned again. This time, he said, "I pointed the gun at my girlfriend's forehead as a joke, thinking the gun was empty, and pulled the trigger." After the incident, the panicked suspects confessed that they first took Aygar to a different location and then transported her to the hospital.
THE YOUNG GIRL LOST HER LIFE
Hira Aygar, who was shot in the head, could not be saved despite all interventions at Mersin City Hospital. After the autopsy, the young girl's body was handed over to her family and buried amid tears.
Regarding the incident, H.A.Ş., along with M.Z. and N.Ç., was taken into custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
RELATIVES AND CITIZENS GATHERED IN FRONT OF THE SUSPECT'S HOUSE
Following the murder of 16-year-old Hira Aygar, who was shot in the head by her boyfriend H.A.Ş. (19), her relatives and citizens reacted by going to the suspect's house. In the evening hours, some of Aygar's relatives went to the address in the central Toroslar district where the suspect H.A.Ş.'s house is located. In the area where the police had taken precautions beforehand, the crowd chanted slogans for a while, and then dispersed peacefully after police warnings. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
