The latest incident occurred on Mecidiye Street in the İlkadım district. A six-month pregnant woman who was trying to withdraw money from a bank ATM with her husband suddenly collapsed as she could no longer withstand the heat.
TAKEN TO HOSPITAL
Upon notification by the woman's relatives who saw her collapse, health teams were quickly dispatched to the scene. The pregnant woman, who received initial first aid on the street, was transported by stretcher to an ambulance and taken to Samsun Gazi State Hospital. Authorities are warning citizens, especially during midday hours, to avoid going outside unless necessary.
