A friendly dialogue took place between President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Beşiktaş coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst. During Beşiktaş Club's visit to the Presidential Complex, Erdogan greeted van Bronckhorst with the German phrase "Wilkommen," which means "Welcome" in English. Initially not fully understanding what was said, van Bronckhorst responded with confusion, saying "Sorry?"

The disagreement between President Erdogan and Beşiktaş coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst over the German phrase "Hoş Geldiniz" became the highlight of the visit.

BEŞİKTAŞ VISIT

Beşiktaş Club, President Hasan Arat, executives, coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst, and players visited the Presidential Complex with a large delegation.

BRONCKHORST'S SURPRISE

During the visit, President Erdogan greeted Giovanni van Bronckhorst with the German phrase "Wilkommen," which means "Welcome." Initially not understanding what was said, van Bronckhorst responded with confusion, saying "Sorry?"

When President Erdogan repeated "Wilkommen" for the second time, the experienced coach realized the situation and smiled, saying "Dutch... I understand." This implied that he did not speak German and was Dutch. In response, President Erdogan laughed.
