President Erdoğan pinned a badge on Kürşad Zorlu, the spokesperson of the İYİ Party and Ankara Deputy, who recently resigned, during his party's 8th ordinary provincial congress in Ankara. Zorlu's speech following the badge presentation drew attention as he conveyed a message using a quote from Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

The İYİ Party Ankara Deputy and former party spokesperson Kürşad Zorlu recently announced that he has resigned from his party. Today, Zorlu, who joined the AK Party, was presented with his badge by President Erdoğan.

HE DELIVERED A MESSAGE WITH ATATÜRK'S WORDS

After the badge presentation, Zorlu made a brief statement, saying, "I am proud to be with you in this great gathering. Today, our country is facing multiple threats and challenges... As Mustafa Kemal Atatürk said, when it comes to the homeland, the rest is just details."

HIS RESIGNATION STATEMENT HAD CAUGHT ATTENTION

Zorlu had stated in his resignation announcement, "At this point, I regret to see that the opportunity to progress towards a common goal that would carry this hope into the future has been lost."
