President Erdoğan to İmamoğlu: When it comes to the Social Security Institution, there is no money, but when it comes to enjoying themselves in Paris, they have plenty.

The President of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Ekrem İmamoğlu, received a reaction from President Erdoğan regarding the event he organized in Paris for 600,000 Euros. Erdoğan said, "If a sentence is to be made about the country's resources, it should not be criticized for the airport, but for the spendthrifts who spend the people's money in Paris. When it comes to SGK, there is no money, but when it comes to enjoying in Paris, there is."

ERDOĞAN'S REACTION TO İMAMOĞLU: "PARIS"

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the opening of the Çukurova International Airport, which was completed in the Tarsus district of Mersin. Erdoğan strongly criticized İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was the focus of criticism with the event he organized in Paris under the name of "Promotion of Istanbul".

Erdoğan, stating that İBB did not pay its debts to SGK but organized events in Paris with large amounts of money, said the following: "Years pass, names change, but there is no change in the approach of the main opposition. 600,000 EUROS PAID FOR TWO DAYS

On the other hand, at the event held in Paris for two days, for which 600,000 Euros were paid, İmamoğlu was accompanied by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik, CHP mayors, and their families. The event, which was claimed to be funded from the İBB budget, featured famous singer Karsu.

İMAMOĞLU: "WE WERE THERE TO PROMOTE ISTANBUL"

In response to the reactions, İmamoğlu said, "We were in Paris for 4 days. We watched the Olympic Games. While we were there to promote and explain Istanbul, we faced accusations about what we did minute by minute here. These words are not valid.
