The tension in the district of Melikgazi, Kayseri increased after a 5-year-old Syrian child was once again harassed by a Syrian individual. The statement made by MHP Kayseri Deputy İsmail Özdemir regarding the issue, "Our expectation as MHP is to ensure that our Syrian guests return to their country in an honorable manner as soon as possible for the peace and security of Turkey," drew attention.

In the events that occurred after the harassment of a 5-year-old Syrian child by a Syrian individual in the Melikgazi district of Kayseri, the harasser was taken into custody and the child was placed under protection. An announcement that will attract attention was made by the MHP regarding the incidents where the residents of the district overturned vehicles and set fire to businesses.

In Danişmentgazi Neighborhood located in the district, a Syrian national was caught in the act of harassing a 5-year-old Syrian child. The crowd that gathered at the scene caused a disturbance to take the person. Numerous police, riot police, health, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene.

In a written statement made by the Kayseri Governorship after the incident, it was stated that the person was taken into custody and the child was under protection, and the statement "The issue is being closely monitored by us, and it is respectfully requested that our citizens do not engage in any action other than the statements specified by the official authorities." was used.
