The countdown has begun in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, which were hit in Iran's retaliatory attacks on US bases. It has been learned that the United Arab Emirates will deplete its stock of missile defense systems within a week at the current pace, while Qatar will do so in four days. Both countries have reportedly requested urgent military support from the US.
The intense missile and drone attacks by Iran on US bases in the region have brought the air defense capacity of Gulf countries to the brink of exhaustion.
THE MILITARY POWER OF THE UAE AND QATAR IS RUNNING OUT
According to Bloomberg's report, if the current intensity of attacks continues, it is predicted that the United Arab Emirates will completely deplete its missile defense stocks in a week, while Qatar will do so in just four days.
URGENT CALL FOR HELP TO THE US
Due to the critical drop in stocks, both countries have requested urgent military support and ammunition replenishment from the Washington administration. There is curiosity about whether the US will implement additional deployment plans to the region to protect its own bases and provide logistical support to its allies, given the risk of the defense umbrella in the region collapsing.
US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
While negotiations continue between Tehran and the Washington administration, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28.
In response, Iran attacked targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed.
The Iranian Red Crescent announced that 555 people lost their lives and 747 were injured in the bombings targeting the country.
