Beşiktaş Club Vice President Murat Kılıç responded to the words of Trabzonspor Club Vice President Taner Fikret Saral. Kılıç stated, "I have sadly followed the baseless and boundary-pushing statements of a person occupying the vice presidency at Trabzonspor, which will serve no purpose other than sowing seeds of hatred and animosity between the two clubs, in the name of the future of Turkish football. Those who fall into the folly of making grand statements should not forget that no one has been able to dictate the direction to Beşiktaş, nor will they be able to."
Beşiktaş Club Vice President Murat Kılıç stated that his remarks made after the match against Trabzonspor yesterday had no connection with the burgundy-blue club.
In a written statement on the black-and-white club's website, Kılıç responded to the words of Trabzonspor Club Vice President Taner Fikret Saral, saying, "While my statement did not even mention the 'T' of Trabzonspor, the expression made by Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan in an interview with a television channel on December 6, 2025, 'Trabzonspor Club has been the club that has suffered the most pain on the road to championships throughout its history. Kılıç emphasized that the addressees of his remarks last night were the Turkish Football Federation and the referees, and he noted:
"Why were you disturbed by my statement targeting the Turkish Football Federation and the referees, that you felt the need to make a hasty statement that would remind one of the saying 'the guilty always comes first to the scene'? Are you satisfied with the referee's management? If not, why couldn't you say a couple of words about this issue? We will continue to speak out loud about what we believe to be true, whether there are dogs in the village or not, and even if someone is offended by the latest example, we will resolutely continue our pursuit of rights and justice, not just for ourselves but for all our clubs. Our efforts to protect the brand value of Turkish football, our preservation of our dignity, and our rational behavior do not mean that we will turn a blind eye to rudeness. Trabzonspor Club Vice President Taner Fikret Saral's response to Murat Kılıç's statements was as follows;
