It was discovered that Tremasov had entered the city only 12 days ago, and the Homicide Bureau teams have launched a comprehensive investigation into his suspicious death.
CITIZENS NOTICED
The incident occurred in the garden of a house located on 2240 Street in the Güzeloba neighborhood of Muratpaşa district. Residents who noticed a person lying face-down in the garden grew suspicious and immediately reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center. In the first check by health teams who arrived at the address in a short time, it was determined that the person on the ground had lost his life.
HOMICIDE BUREAU INVOLVED
Upon finding the death suspicious, the Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch Homicide Bureau and Crime Scene Investigation teams were immediately dispatched to the area. Police teams, who took extensive security measures in the vicinity, conducted a detailed search for evidence in the garden and on the street, and began examining camera records.
CAME TO THE CITY 12 DAYS AGO
Examining the passport and mobile phone recovered from the deceased, the teams determined that the individual was Russian citizen Sergei Tremasov (51) and that he had entered the city via Antalya Airport on June 10.
CAUSE OF DEATH WILL BE CLARIFIED BY AUTOPSY
After the work carried out under the supervision of the crime scene investigation teams and the public prosecutor on duty, Tremasov's body was transferred to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death. The police are continuing their multifaceted investigation into the incident.
