Nineteen-year-old Sümeyye S., who has been missing since last night in Nevşehir, was found dead among the rocks in an empty lot. SPOKE WITH RELATIVES, NO FURTHER NEWS RECEIVED
According to the information obtained, 19-year-old Sümeyye Satılmış had a video call with her relatives around 5:00 PM yesterday while she was in the vicinity of Kayaşehir and Kahveci Mountain. After this call, her relatives, who could not reach her again, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center and requested help.
BODY FOUND IN A MOUNTAINOUS AREA
Upon receiving the notification, police teams launched a large-scale search for Sümeyye Satılmış, which continued into the morning hours. The teams conducted both foot and drone-assisted searches in the area. Additionally, the teams examined security and CCTV cameras in the vicinity and obtained footage of the girl walking in the foothills of Kahveci Mountain last night. Intensifying their efforts in the area, the teams located the lifeless body of the young girl. It was learned that Satılmış died after falling from a height, while the exact cause of death will be determined after an autopsy.
Meanwhile, police teams, who took extensive security measures at the scene, also conducted an investigation. After the examination, Satılmış's lifeless body was taken to the morgue.
GRANDFATHER'S STATEMENT EMERGED
Additionally, the statement given by Sümeyye Satılmış's grandfather, who lives alone in Nevşehir, has also come to light. In the statement given by grandfather M.Y., he said, "She lives alone in her residence. Her parents are not in the center of Nevşehir. My granddaughter called me at 10:20 AM yesterday, and we talked routinely. She told me she was coming home from work and would go to bed. After that, we ended the conversation. Sümeyye's mother F. called me at 6:00 PM. She said she had not heard from Sümeyye, that her house was in disarray, and that she could not reach her. For this reason, I went to Sümeyye's residence. When I arrived, the house was in a messy state. I discussed the matter with my daughter and then tried to reach Sümeyye. However, I could not reach her," he said.
