Striking images emerged in the capital Tehran following the attacks by the US and Israel targeting oil depots in Iran. After the violent explosions, thick smoke and oil residues filled the sky, causing oil to rain down on the city.

As tensions in the Middle East escalate with each passing hour, Israel and the US struck oil depots in Iran that are of great importance to the country's economy. After the attacks, large explosions occurred in Tehran. The thick black smoke rising into the sky covered a large part of the city. In the morning hours, it was seen that oil was literally raining down in the area due to the remnants of burning oil falling from the sky to the ground.

IRAN: WE TARGETED HAIFA REFINERY

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced that they retaliated against Israel's attack on the Tehran Refinery. Iranian state television published a statement from the Public Relations Unit of the Revolutionary Guards Corps.

The statement included, "In response to the attack on the Tehran Refinery by the US and the Zionists, we targeted the Haifa Refinery." It was reported that the facility in Haifa was hit by a "Haybar Shiken" missile.

US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN

While negotiations continued between Tehran and Washington, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28.

Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.

In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials, including Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, were killed. Iranian Health Ministry Spokesman Hossein Kermanpur announced that 926 people lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
