During the weekend, the polemic between Samsunspor, who will be hosted by Galatasaray, and Fenerbahçe is growing increasingly. The red-and-white club responded to the statements made by the yellow-navy team regarding the president of the Black Sea team, Yüksel Yıldırım. Fenerbahçe also released a statement following Yıldırım's remarks.

"We are following the statements made in the public regarding our club and our Club President, Mr. Yüksel Yıldırım, with astonishment.

As our club achieves successful results, it has been targeted by individuals whose intentions are clearly not good. These reckless statements are merely futile efforts by certain groups to overshadow their own failures. However, the ugly language used and the attitude adopted contribute nothing to the development of Turkish football.

No matter what anyone says, our club, with its Atatürk emblem, will continue to pursue its short and long-term goals; it will remain an unwavering advocate of fair, equal, and clean football.

We return the expressions that exceed the limits of criticism regarding our club and our Club President, Mr. Yüksel Yıldırım, to their owners; we want them to know that we will take the necessary steps before the prosecutor's office and the courts regarding them."

WHAT HAPPENED?

President Yüksel Yıldırım, accused of remaining silent before the Galatasaray match, had responded to the criticisms through his social media account.

Yıldırım stated, "We speak on the field. On Sunday, the players will do their best on the field at Rams Park, and we will go out to win the match. No one, especially Fenerbahçeliler, should have any doubts about this. As long as I am President, Samsunspor will never sell a match and will not sell one. Let it be known by Fenerbahçeliler."

"THE SHAME HAS GONE BEYOND THE KNEES"

Yıldırım reacted to Fenerbahçeliler who criticized him, saying, "Why did you lose 3-1 at your own field? First, explain that, then criticize us. Thanks to the Fenerbahçe media, the shame in Turkish football has gone beyond the knees. What can we discuss with those who say 'justice' but do not want to deliver justice! You cannot explain the truth to those who are on alert to misunderstand."

FENERBAHÇE RESPONDED

Fenerbahçe responded to Yıldırım's statements regarding the yellow-navy club. The statement included the following expressions.

"We have been following yet another of Samsunspor President Yüksel Yıldırım's endless statements as of today.

While explaining his goals regarding the opponent he will face this week, we see his forced approach to bring Fenerbahçe's name into the agenda and make comments through Fenerbahçe as an attempt to change the agenda and gain attention."

We suggest that Yüksel Yıldırım refrain from using our club's name with an approach that exceeds his limits and boundaries,

focus on the main agenda and allegations where his club's name is mentioned, and take the necessary precautions to avoid giving rise to the message that "there has been a contradiction between brains and hearts" after a match."
