CHP Şanlıurfa Member of Parliament Mahmut Tanal, in a statement regarding the issue, argued that such practices are not isolated incidents. Tanal noted that similar events have become widespread and called on the authorities.

Necla Cengiz, mentioned in the news, served as a clinical coder in the TIG unit as a medical secretary at Şanlıurfa Training and Research Hospital during the relevant period. Clinical coding processes are carried out by personnel authorized by the Ministry of Health through personalized systems, and all transaction records are kept in detail on the ministry's servers. Investigations have revealed that during the period the relevant personnel served, there was a significant increase in the hospital's data submission rates, the monthly coding numbers exceeded the targets, and significant improvements occurred in service processes. All transactions performed by the personnel are documented in the system records, and it has been understood that she fulfilled her duties actively and regularly. An investigation has been initiated regarding the allegations about the time tracking card, an investigator has been assigned, and as a result of the ongoing investigation, no negligence or misconduct has been detected."
