Etimesgut Mayor Erdal Beşikçioğlu said that a street dog that bit a child in the district will be returned to where it was taken after 10 days of observation. Beşikçioğlu stated in a statement on his social media account that he followed the dog biting incident in Yapracık Neighborhood of Etimesgut district in Ankara with great sensitivity.

Beşikçioğlu, who said that they took the necessary steps after the street dog named Y.K. bit a child, said, "The green earring of the mentioned dog shows that it is a street animal registered with Sincan Municipality. One of our beloved animals, which was taken to the Temporary Animal Care Center belonging to Ankara Metropolitan Municipality for necessary health checks, has been adopted, and the other one will be returned to where it was taken after 10 days of observation," he said.

Beşikçioğlu stated that they observed an increase in the number of dogs left from other districts within the boundaries of the district and used the following expressions: "This situation may overshadow the meticulous work we do to protect our beloved animals.
