Her daughter Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, who was taken into custody as part of the investigation, was arrested by the court on charges of "deliberately and intentionally killing a relative."
While the echoes of the incident continue, famous singer Seda Sayan also made statements about Güllü's death on her own program.

Sayan shared for the first time the sacrifices Güllü made for her children, stating that she paid their school fees. Speaking about the issue for the first time, Seda Sayan said:

Özgür Aras called me. He said, 'Güllü's children want to talk to you.' Because they said: 'When our mother was in a tight spot, she had taken from you to pay our school fees,' said Özgür Aras.
