Renowned for his character Necmi Dede in the series "Çılgın Bediş," master actor Selahattin Taşdöğen hosted Evrim Akın in his 3+1 apartment, which features a six-person dining table, a black coffee table, two armchairs, and a cream sofa. Taşdöğen's home attracted attention with its simple yet elegant details. The butterfly paintings on the walls, awards, and photographs with old friends created a memory gallery that spans from the artist's past to the present.

While touring the house with Evrim Akın, Taşdöğen described the decor as having a "bachelor pad vibe" and humorously commented, "It has been touched by a man's hand, but it's tidy."

"YONCA EVCİMİK SAVED MY LIFE"

Taşdöğen shared for the first time about a serious accident he experienced during the filming of "Çılgın Bediş."

"In one scene, I hit the chandelier, fell to the ground, and fainted. I was taken to the hospital, but at that moment, I was face to face with death. I owe my life to Yonca Evcimik. She saved my life by taking me to another hospital," he said.

The master actor stated that he experienced memory loss for 15 days after the accident and collected tragicomic memories during that time.

EXPERIENCED VISION LOSS BUT DID NOT QUIT THE STAGE

The artist also shared another health issue he faced on a film set in Akçay. "Due to light sources, I experienced vision loss for 15 days. I played with glasses that were size 12 and weighed 222 grams in 'Dürüyenin Güğümleri' for years," he said.

Despite all these challenges, he emphasized that he has not given up on his passion for the stage and has lived intertwined with theater for 58 years.

Taşdöğen, who has been married four times, has a daughter from his first marriage, a son from his third marriage, and a daughter from his fourth marriage. Taşdöğen called on young people, saying, "Phone and tablet addiction kills imagination. Engage in art, create, and do not be afraid of the stage."
