Şenol Güneş criticized Galatasaray harshly.

13.01.2025 09:41

Trabzonspor's head coach Şenol Güneş made a strong statement regarding Eren Elmalı, who has been linked with Galatasaray. Güneş said, "It is not right for the team that wants Eren Elmalı to make an offer to the player. They should make an offer to the club. The club that will acquire him should know this. It is not right to create confusion."

The Super Lig giant Trabzonspor's head coach Şenol Güneş reacted to Galatasaray's interest in Eren Elmalı.

"EREN IS OUR PLAYER"

Güneş stated regarding Galatasaray's interest, "It was said to exist last week. However, Eren Elmalı is our player, and I do not want him to leave. But if he does, we will look for someone to replace him. However, it is not right for the interested team to make an offer to the player. They should make an offer to the club," he said.

THERE IS NOTHING RIGHT NOW BUT...

The experienced coach also mentioned, "The club that wants to acquire him should know this. It is not right to create confusion. We know that there have been discussions. If my player wants to leave, we will shift from the technical side to the economic side. If the player wants to leave, you find yourself in a difficult situation. Technically, I do not want him to leave, but if there is an economic benefit, I will evaluate it. I spoke with him, and there is nothing conclusive. If there have been discussions, it should be concluded. Then the acquiring club pays the money, and we will look after our own interests."
