Many famous names in the industry have been shocked by allegations regarding the management company ID İletişim, owned by Ayşe Barım, and its actor Serenay Sarıkaya. The company quickly made a statement regarding the allegations.

It was claimed that Ayşe Barım distances those who do not submit to her from the market and opens paths for only those names she has determined to become famous, while also requiring that when one actor is requested, other actors in their roster must also be cast.

It was also alleged that Barım received 5 million dollars from a famous gay male artist's businessman boyfriend and that this money was taken to bring to life a scenario in which the gay singer was in a romantic relationship with a famous female actor. The names involved in this allegation were thought to be Serenay Sarıkaya and Mert Demir.
