After the robbery of 20 million lira carried out with long-barreled weapons at Istanbul Kuyumcukent Shopping Mall, 7 out of 8 suspects who were detained were arrested, and 1 was released under judicial control.

Eight suspects who were brought to court on the allegation of committing a robbery worth 20 million liras with a long-barreled weapon at Kuyumcukent Shopping Mall in Istanbul were arrested, while one person was released under judicial control measures.

The incident occurred on Monday, March 9, around 07:20 in the closed parking area of Kuyumcukent Shopping Mall. The suspects arrived at the parking area with long-barreled weapons, loaded 20 million liras into a vehicle, and fled the scene.

8 PEOPLE DETAINED

Following the incident, the police took action and detained 8 suspects related to the case. During the searches, 6 handguns, 120 cartridges, 108 lyrica pills, 128 ecstasy pills, and 76 ready-to-sell packages containing 285.3 grams of marijuana were seized. The suspects, who were brought to the Public Order Branch Directorate for processing, were sent to court after completing their procedures there.

7 PEOPLE ARRESTED

The 8 suspects, whose prosecution procedures were completed, were brought before the Duty Magistrate Court. Of the individuals, 7 were arrested and sent to prison, while 1 was released under judicial control measures.
