An indictment has been prepared regarding a woman who severely assaulted another woman whom she believed resembled her husband's mistress in Edirne. In the indictment, it was stated that the suspect hit the victim by slamming the car door on her as she was getting out of the vehicle, and then fled the scene after saying, "I thought she looked like her, sorry." The car door was considered a weapon in this incident.

Hamiyet Bingül (40), who parked her car in front of her house after shopping at the market with her spouse and child in the Abdurrahman neighborhood of Edirne, was attacked by another woman while getting out of the car and was beaten and left bleeding in front of her husband and child. After the incident, the victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance, while the suspect, the other woman, was detained by police teams.
