A 26-year-old woman, Sabriye A., who is 5 months pregnant in Adana, sprayed pepper spray at her husband Mehmet A. (26) while he was driving a bus on January 9, and then stabbed him in the neck. The young woman received a house arrest sentence for the attack she carried out, claiming that her husband did not show their 2-year-old son to her. Later, in a statement to the press, Sabriye A. said that her husband received immoral offers from men due to his gambling debts, stating, "I explained the situation to my husband, and he replied, 'It won't hurt once.'" In response to Sabriye A.'s statements, Mehmet A. claimed that his wife lied to avoid going to prison. SHOWED A SEXUALLY EXPLICIT VIDEO ALLEGEDLY BELONGING TO HIS WIFEAfter the events, Mehmet A. appeared on the program "Zahide Yetiş ile Yeniden Başlasak." During the program, Mehmet A. claimed that his wife went to Istanbul and cheated on him there. In response, the host Yetiş showed some sexually explicit images circulating on social media to Mehmet A. live on air. Zahide Yetiş asked Mehmet A. if the woman in the video was Sabriye A. "SHE HAS A TATTOO, IT'S NOT SABRIYE"The video that came to the agenda during the live broadcast quickly spread on social media. Some accounts began to make ugly posts regarding the issue, hurling insults at Sabriye A. It was stated that the person in the video did not match Sabriye A. in the face recognition system. Additionally, viewers of the video noted that the person in the video had a tattoo, while Sabriye A. did not have any tattoos. REACTIONS POURED IN FOR ZAHİDE YETİŞThere was a backlash against Zahide Yetiş for showing sexually explicit images of a woman allegedly related to Mehmet A. during the live broadcast. Users commented, "The woman in the video is not the same person. They put the woman under suspicion for the sake of ratings.
