The Barbados-flagged vessel "TRACKHOUND," which was making a north-south passage in the Istanbul Strait, experienced a mechanical failure off İstinye, resulting in the suspension of ship traffic in both directions.

Due to a machinery failure on the vessel named 'TRACKHOUND' in the Istanbul Strait, ship traffic has been halted in both directions. Rescue teams have been dispatched to the scene.

TRAFFIC STOPPED IN THE STRAIT

According to the information obtained, traffic in the Bosphorus was halted at 19:50 after the Barbados-flagged vessel named "TRACKHOUND" experienced a malfunction while making a north-south passage. The Coast Guard's Rescue-5 and Nazım Tur tugboats, along with the KEGM-5 boat, were sent to the scene.

It has been learned that the malfunctioning vessel is located in front of the Çubuklu Ferry Pier, and the teams' intervention is ongoing.
