REASON FOR THE DISREPUTABLE STATEMENT

According to the board's statement, the penalty was imposed due to "statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football and institutions" made on the club's official social media account and website.

PFDK'S STATEMENT

"It has been decided to impose a 15-DAY BAN on GALATASARAY A.Ş. President DURSUN AYDIN ÖZBEK due to the statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football and institutions made on the Club's official social media account (X) on 21.02.2026 and on the Club's official website (galatasaray.org) on 22.02.2026, in accordance with articles 38/3 and 38/1-a of the FDT."
