In Aydın, a car turned into scrap metal after an accident caused by a drunk driver. After the crash, the wife, who arrived at the scene and saw the condition of the vehicle bought with their children's livelihood, had a nervous breakdown, saying, 'I gave my children's tobacco money for this; I wish he had died instead.'
A traffic accident involving a drunk driver in Aydın left behind not only great material damage but also a family drama that broke the hearts of onlookers. The car, out of control due to the drunk driver, veered off the road and was reduced to scrap. Following the accident, the driver's wife, who arrived at the scene, suffered a nervous breakdown upon seeing the situation.
"I DID NOT DESERVE THIS"
When she reached the accident site and saw that the car, bought with her children's livelihood, was rendered unusable, the grieving woman cried out in tears. The woman, whom nearby citizens and traffic police officers struggled to calm, turned to her husband and protested with these words:
"I gave all my children's effort, all the tobacco money to this. I did not deserve this. I told you not to go, I begged you not to go! If only he had died instead!"

Nearby citizens mobilized to calm the woman who had a nervous breakdown. The desperate mother, struggling to stand and throwing herself into a roadside water channel, cried for a long time saying, "I invested my children's food money and tobacco money into this."
It was noted that the drunk driver who caused the accident remained silent in the face of his wife's outcry. Police teams launched an investigation into the incident, while the car, now scrap, was removed from the road with the help of a tow truck.
