In a social media post, Çetinkaya announced the seriousness of her condition, stating that she has been physically and emotionally exhausted due to a high fever that has lasted for 8 days and an unspecified virus.

Çetinkaya mentioned that her high fever has not gone down and that a clear diagnosis has not been made, using the following expressions: "It’s clear they won’t let me go from the hospital tonight. I had a terrible night again, my fever won’t go down. I’m very tired of being like this. Being able to post a story has become a luxury. I tell myself to stay calm about what’s happening in the next room, but when my fever is constantly above 39.5, I lose my mind. We can’t find out what the virus is; it’s definitely from something I ate, but my nerves are frayed, and I have no veins left for blood tests. I’m getting worse every day, I’m starting to worry, I apologize for complaining, but this is how I am, what can I do."
Çetinkaya stated that the inconclusive results of the daily blood tests have both worried and exhausted her. She mentioned that as the process prolongs, she is also struggling psychologically, continuing her words as follows:
"I have lost all my positivity. Fever makes a person feel bad. I can’t eat anything, it won’t go down. The hematologist is supposed to come today. I’m like this because I’ve started to get scared, I apologize for reflecting this to you… But this is also a part of my life."
