Social Security Expert Murat Bal was a guest on presenter Melis Yaşar's show on Haberler.com. Speaking about the expected increase in the minimum wage following the prediction of a decrease in inflation to 41.5% with the medium-term program, Bal said, "The minimum wage is expected to be 25,000 TL." "THE MINIMUM WAGE IS EXPECTED TO BE 25,000 TL"Answering Melis Yaşar's question "What will be the minimum wage after the inflation prediction?", Social Security Expert Murat Bal said, "The expectation for the minimum wage is at least around 25,000 TL. When the minimum wage was set at 17,000 TL, it was the highest minimum wage in the history of the Republic against the dollar, but unfortunately, this figure has decreased now. At the same time, when the minimum wage was set, it was above the poverty line, but now it is close to 20,000 TL, but the minimum wage is still in the 17,000s." WILL THERE BE A WELFARE SHARE?Talking about the welfare share system, which is implemented to protect workers from possible exchange rate and price fluctuations and prevent them from being victims despite receiving wage increases in line with inflation, the expert said, "I think the welfare share will come up because the minimum wage has not been increased in such an inflationary environment for 12 months, and minimum wage earners have really faced the erosion of their wages against inflation. That's why I believe there should be a welfare share."
